Hanafubuki means 'flower storm' or 'rain of blossoms'. Imagine you are standing under the cherry blossom trees in Kyoto when along comes a spring breeze. The blossoms are lifted from the trees and rain down on you. This is 'hanafubuki' and Diane Weber has attempted to capture in this Asian fabric collage design. As with all of her quilt designs, the sewing is easy. This pattern is a wonderful fit for large scale and Asian fabrics. Finished size: 60" x 78" |
