Stretched Diamond Star Quilt Pattern is a relatively simple design, easy to construct with no set-in seams. It is made to look stunning by a careful choice of fabrics and the strategic placement of colors and values. The corner quilt blocks are the traditional Toad in the Puddle and the diamond wedges are "stretched" Toad in the Puddle quilt blocks.
This pattern is wonderful for combining a gradated packet of hand dyed fabrics with rich ethnic textiles.
